The front desk coordinator, under the supervision of the Practice Manager, is responsible for performing receptionist functions, including, but not limited to, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, answering phones, and tidying waiting room. This position adheres to strict boundaries and professional ethics in the care of others and provides the highest level of customer service to patients and their families, physicians, therapists and the general public. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a professional office environment; this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and fax machines. POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday thru Friday. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. Administrative experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and Internet. Should be familiar with using electronic health record.
